Terms & Conditions

  1. This agreement is between Tauranga Kennels and Cattery, staff and agents (herein referred to as "Tauranga Kennels","we","our" and "us") and the owner or agent (herein referred to as "you",”your”) of the animal(s) being placed in our care.

  2. You warrant that your pet is in good health and have notified us of any medical related problem.

  3. In the event of illness or injury, treatment will be sought at the discretion of Tauranga Kennels and any costs arising from such activities will be charged to the owners account. A fee will also be charged to the owners account for transportation to a Veterinarian.

  4. Tauranga Kennels will take all necessary precautions in the care of your animals, however if an event should arise Tauranga Kennels will not be held liable for any loss, sickness or death.

  5. You may be liable for any excessive damage caused to the facilities by your animal(s) while the are in our care.

  6. Tauranga Kennels is a secure fully fenced facility. We will not be liable for any animal that escapes, jumps fences, chews their way out or finds some other means of removing themselves from our care.

  7. You agree that you have notified Tauranga Kennels of any social, behavioural or medical issues associated with your pet.

  8. All boarding rates are daily levied from and including the day or 1/2 day of arrival and departure.

  9. All charges are to be paid in full before the removal of the animal(s) by you or an agent.

  10. Animals will be mixed at the sole discretion of Tauranga Kennels. Day-care and Boarding do not guarantee your animals will be socialised. Tauranga Kennels and Cattery will take necessary precautions and the decision to mix will be in the best interests of all the animals in our care.

  11. Tauranga Kennels reserves the right to charge for the full booking period if the animal(s) are uplifted early or if a cancelation is made less than 48 hours prior to booked period.

  12. You agree Tauranga Kennels may use your animals image for promotional purposes.

  13. You agree to meet all costs and fees incurred while your pet is in our care.

  14. Animals that are not Neutered or Spayed will not be mixed.

  15. Any animals not collected and paid for with 14 (fourteen) days of agreed collection date, unless otherwise agreed between Tauranga Kennels and the owner/agent, will be deemed to have been abandoned and Tauranga Kennels reserves the right to re-home, or otherwise dispose of the animals at their discretion. Any cost associated with this will be recoverable from you.

  16. You will be liable for any costs incurred to recover outstanding monies.
